Wraparound’s Aim

To provide a quality out of school childcare service in a safe, welcoming environment where the emphasis is on having fun and providing a positive experience for all children.  We aim to produce not a ‘curriculum’ but a ‘programme of opportunities,’

Wraparound – Term Time

For busy parents we offer care for your children both before school (from 8.00 am ) and after school (to 6.00 pm ).  Admission is on a ‘drop in’ basis and we provide an evening tea for the children.  Invoices are raised each half-term for the childcare used and sent direct to the fee payer.

Wraparound – Holiday Schemes

The holiday scheme is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am – 6.00 pm during all school holidays.  It is closed for public and bank holidays and for the period between Christmas and New Year.

During Wraparound’s holiday schemes, admission is on a pre-booked basis.  Our Holiday Schemes are open to all Broadwater Manor pupils and outside friends from 3 to 12 years of age.

Staffing

All Wraparound Supervisors are qualified and meet OFSTEDs requirements.  The staff to child ratio is as required by the Children’s Act regulations, which ensures that the children have the opportunity for individual attention and continuity of care.

During Wraparound the children have the opportunity to make new friends and experience fun activities.

Wraparound Holiday Schemes are another opportunity for the children to make new friends and to meet with existing school friends.  There are new and different experiences and activities for all age groups to enjoy including craft, music, drama, sports and free play, where the children have the freedom to choose what they want to do.

Fees:

 £3.50 per hour or £1.75 per half hour. Days and number of hours to be flexible. You will be invoiced in arrears at the end of each half term.

£1.50 for a tea. (Tea will be served at 5.00pm and will be a compulsory extra for all children still on site at 5.00pm).
