A Message from the Headteacher.

Thank you very much for reading our school website. We hope you will also visit our school and see the ‘pictures come to life’. Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever have to make. We want you to choose our school because you believe that we offer the best possible education for your child. Broadwater
Manor School offers a caring, stimulating and balanced environment in
which your child’s abilities will be developed to their full potential.
Enjoyment in learning is vitally important and we provide a lively,
broad and carefully structured curriculum.
From the youngest pupils who attend our toddlers groups, through to
our scholars in the top year, the children are encouraged to try new
activities which will widen their horizons and give them an appetite for
learning. This will enable
them to live life to the full, and will foster their intellectual,
physical, cultural, moral and spiritual development.

We are a co-educational day school with a Christian foundation, where respect for each other and the world around us are seen as crucial. We also believe that parental involvement is vital for your child’s all-round development. Parents are kept informed about their child’s progress and general educational matters through regular consultation and information evenings. I offer you a warm invitation to come and visit us and to discuss your child and his or her future education. Yours sincerely, Mrs E.K. Woodley B.A.(Hons), Cert.Ed Headteacher |

Before working at Broadwater Manor Mrs Woodley taught in the maintained system for several years. She then joined our school, introducing the Nursery and Toddler groups, assisting in the development of the Pre-prep department, establishing the popular Wraparound Care scheme and teaching in all departments of the school. Although
fully committed to her role as Headteacher, Mrs Woodley combines this with
caring for her family. She is ably supported by her husband Peter, who is
also a fellow Director of the school, as well as being Head of Cameras for
BBC Television. Her
involvement in the local community includes being the Youth officer for
Worthing Rotary Club, working with local charities, and being a committed
member of the local church. Mrs
Woodley demonstrates by example her dedication to establishing the trust
and respect necessary to form the essential partnership between school and
home - the partnership that will give your child the best possible
education.
