Year 5 History Projects

In Year 5 the pupils produce their own research projects on Worthing. Part of their brief is to produce a project container that reflects some aspect of Worthing's history.

It is hoped to add some of their personal research to this website later and create a History of Worthing resource bank.

The parent's are encouraged to help the children produce their container - but many prefer to work without help! The ideas they come up with are astounding.	Treasure Chests, Messages in Bottles, Monopoly-style Games, Gifts from Worthing, Memory Boxes - the children are very imaginative!	St Boltolph's Church, Heene
The Kursaal (The original name of the Dome Cinema)		The most unusual container this year was a gravestone (complete with skeleton inside). It was not a comment on the average age of the population but a fitting link to the research - the ghost stories of Worthing and Broadwater Church!
