Happenings
Sometimes things
happen at our school that do not fit into a particular category.
These can be traditional events or one-off 'occasions'.
We would still like to share them with you!

Every
Christmas we hold a traditional Carol Concert in Worthing's Tabernacle
Church. Here are some pictures from the 2007 Concert.

| It is also a tradition that our Year 8 Children dress up for our Christmas dinner and entertain the Prep Department while we eat. | |

This year our Senior Choir went and sang carols for some of the elderly folk of Worthing. |

Sometimes
our chef decides to have a themed meal day. The Pre-Prep dressed up for
our Pirate's Day!
We have also had an American Day and an Australian Day.

Year
8 came up with a novel way to raise funds - they auctioned themselves
off as waiters.
The rest of Prep enjoyed being served their meals. Our waiters really did themselves proud. |

On the south coast of England we rarely get the snow - so if it comes we just have to play in it! One such occasion happened in 2007! |

We try
to raise money for charity in different ways throughout the year. This
year we chose to have a sponsored HUSH! for the Macmillan Nurses.
The school was really quiet for twenty minutes! |

It
happens every other year - an alarming outbreak of silliness. It was
very contagious! By the end of the day nearly every child in the school
had an alarmingly red nose!
But do not worry - it was just our Comic Relief celebrations. This year Mrs Lloyd, our art teacher, painted our noses to raise money for the charity. |
|
The Senior Choir was invited to join Brighton College in a concert at St John's Smith Square, London. After rehearsing all afternoon a well deserved break for tea was taken in Victoria Towers Garden - next to the houses of Parliament. The concert was buzzing with excitement and we enjoyed participating in and watching a memorable musical experience. |

Once
exams are over the Year 8 children enjoy a variety of Fun Days. One of
them was a trip to Brighton Pier to watch Eastenders being filmed!
